A profession that revolves around digital investigation, survey, analysis and report
In the media, Sagaïdou Bilal writes on several subjects of general interest. Subjects such as education, governance, human rights, culture, social subjects or even security. These subjects, he treats them in tickets, analyzes, reports, digital investigations, surveys or even in interviews.
On the Internet, many platforms, associations or other reliable information sources have emerged in recent years. Passionate about writing and animated by a strong citizen commitment, it was in 2017 that he joined Doniblog - the community of bloggers of Mali. Animating his personal blog, he begins to write for the Benbere platform as a contributor, when it was created in 2018.
“Benbere is a media project carried by Doniblog. It is open to all young people in Mali, blogger or not, journalist or not, researcher or not. It was at the start to free the floor, especially for young people, who are little considered by the traditional local media. »The Fact-Checker profession therefore requires a fine knowledge of the field and daily news. Bilal Sagaidou, with other actors in this struggle, allows their audience to learn with verified and explained information.
Doniblog, an organization of civil society
Doniblog (the Mali Bloggers' Community) is an organization from Malian civil society, with its receipt, its internal statutes and regulations, in accordance with the regulations in this area. Its mission is to "contribute to putting young people in community so that they can work together by finding innovative solutions to the problems of their fellow citizens in the field of governance, health, social innovation. In Doniblog, we have different profiles: teachers, students, journalists, researchers, communicators or even bureaucrats passionate about blog, writing, and committed to good governance, the protection and promotion of human rights in Mali ”. By integrating this organization, and being one of Benbere's regular contributors, he benefited from many training courses: "editorial techniques, fact-checking, and animation of a blog"…. So many new strings to his journalist bow, also trained in investigative journalism.

A profession at the heart of the editorial staff for Benbere & Tama Média
While continuing to write for Benbere, he accepted in January 2021 a position of editorial manager in an online Malian media. Since July 2022, he left this position to exclusively resume freelance before committing again. In parallel, he continues to carry out writing activities (analysis, writing and rereading documents).

Since the end of 2022, he has launched a new challenge by joining the writing of "Tama Média". The latter is carried by a collective of African journalists and from the African diaspora. “The objective is to provide African youth and all those who are interested in the African continent content far from instantaneity and buzz, through analyzes, reports, stands, constructive and positive initiatives.
